Outdoor living is in our blood. We have been in the patio furniture business for four generations—providing Chicago's best patio furniture, always in the Chicago northwest suburbs we call home.

Our goal really is not to sell you something, it's to find you the solution to your outdoor furniture and outdoor-living needs that works for you. To do that, our sales process begins with listening. We don't want to sell you a particular “item of the week”—we want to find what works for you, what makes you happy, what makes you feel your money was well spent.

Listening to a customer who came in for a new grill because his old one was broken resulted in our selling him an $80 part we had in stock to fix his grill rather than selling him a $700 grill he was ready to purchase. We're not going to try to sell you a new grill just because you don't know that an $80 part will fix your old one. That's no way to treat friends.

We like to think of the time we spend with our customers as a conversation, not a sales pitch, and our relaxed and easy-going ways often lead to long-term friendships. Many of our customers have been shopping with us for decades, coming back each time they have a new home or their needs change.

Our highly creative staff can help you select the right patio furniture, arrangement and fabric. They go beyond just knowing about the available products and options to ensuring that your patio furniture and other outdoor furnishings work with your decking, the color of your pool, your home, and your personal style. And you're just as likely to be working with one of our owners as not. Mil-Green's owners are hands-on and are almost always on the sales floor working with customers.
